  • Phase 3 - Consolidation

In phase 3, we will host masterclasses on token finance, token engineering, and token regulations. Be prepared to dive deep in each topic and get the latest insights from experts in the field!

  • Classroom Masterclasses

This Fall, three deep dive sessions will be held in Amsterdam and Rotterdam

Experts from finance, technology and legal-regulatory will teach you on token taxonomy, token finance, and token engineering. These sessions are organized by popular demand for professionals in Finance, Legal and Technology sectors.

    Token Finance

    September/October

Token financing offers companies a variety of benefits, including the democratisation of value creation. Where companies in the past might have struggled to raise the funds for their venture, token financing offers lower entry barriers for (micro) investors, a wider market to raise funds and easier traceability of and communication with investors.

    Token Engineering

    September/October

Tokens will disrupt global economics and radically change how commerce will be transacted. While various implementations exist for tokens for specific platforms, the industry is currently lacking a venue for all participants to collaborate on a shared description and approach, resulting in a lack of interoperability, reuse, and common ground to address regulatory issues.

    Token Regulation

    September/October

Undeniably, technology’s evolution pace is light years ahead of regulatory frameworks. The regulation of the token economy is one of the most conflictive tasks within the Token ecosystem. We will give a global view of regulation, how different countries approach the issue and in what ways investors are protected against bad practices.

  • The masterclasses

The potential for tokenization to disrupt existing interactions is huge, offering more efficient solutions to existing paradigms (such as stocks or legal entities) while also dramatically reducing the costs to entry (such as crowdfunding). In addition, until today, real estate, collectables and art have been perceived as illiquid, but with the advent of tokens, this will drastically change. When such assets are tokenized and sold across the globe, they have the potential to become highly liquid. That would result in an influx of liquid assets (trillions of euros) that could significantly change global markets.

Our masterclasses cover multiple disciplines: legal, finance, business modeling, regulatory, modern cryptography, finance & accounting, sociology and politics. These series of deep-dive sessions help professionals improve their skill set on decentralized finance and token finance in particular. Get prepared to co-lead the disruptive change that tokenization will unleash.

    Interactive format

We will follow the first principles model for understanding tokenization. During the masterclasses, the Token Taxonomy Framework (TTF) which bridges the gap between blockchain developers, business executives, and legal/regulators, allowing them to work together to model existing and define new business models based on tokens, will be a red herring. Through the masterclasses, we will classify tokens and token use-cases based on the International Token Standardisation Association (ITSA).

During the masterclasses, you will learn the fundamentals from the masters and through interaction with fellow attendees. You will work with peers in the room to validate business models, understand token types and properties. Given the complexity of the subject and to guarantee you retain and process the content and materials provided, we have designed these sessions to take place on separate days during which you will learn from the lecturers and interact with other attendees.

    Objectives

These deep dive sessions are created for professionals with different backgrounds - technical, managerial and entrepreneurial. Professionals without a technical background are invited to participate but may find certain content overwhelming. In that case, you will understand the technology, but may skip some of the assignments. The masterclass offers a practical approach on how to actually design a token framework using the Token Taxonomy Framework (TTF) created by the Token Taxonomy Initiative.

    • Become a professional in Token Taxonomy Frameworks (TTF)
    • Understand token standards as defined by the International Token Standardisation Association (ITSA)
    • Get on the fast track and achieve a knowledge base on token regulation throughout different jurisdictions
    • Understand how tokenization will impact your professional environment through automation, disintermediation, and completely new processes
    • Leverage your knowledge on blockchain by using and applying token engineering principles
    • Work with best-in-class technology, finance, and legal professionals
